Hints about keeping your knife in good condition

After use, dry the blade and clean it of all reed debris.

Always replace it back in its sheath.

Only use the knife for scraping and avoid using it as a cutting implement.

Be careful not to allow the blade to come in contact with hard surfaces.

If you do not intend to use your knife for a long time, wipe it over with an oily cloth before placing it in its sheath.

The knife will lose its shape edge over time and we advise that it is regularly sharpened. Gregson Knives offer sharpening and blade refurbishment services if your knife becomes damaged or too blunt.
